Irresponsible & Eli Pafumi

Irresponsible is an Alt-Rock band based out of Washington, DC, whose hard work has landed them headlining shows at such nationally-renowned venues as the 9:30 Club and Jammin’ Java. The quality and consistency of Irresponsible’s studio releases and live shows have established the band as favorites in the DC music community. With the release of one EP and two LPs, Irresponsible has received consistent airplay on the Local Lix hours of DC’s premier rock station, DC101. Five of their songs have been featured on the station, including the most recent single, “Burn With Me.” Irresponsible’s blend of lighthearted fun and serious musicianship sets this group apart from the rest!

Eli Pafumi has been playing and writing for over a decade. Each year brings new discoveries and Eli’s motivation to create is unwavering.  His love of old school blues, classic rock, and folk, paired with his continuous exploration of composers, new instruments and upcoming songwriters has allowed Eli to become a musician with a unique voice of his own, poised to move to the next level.

In the past, Eli has opened for such bands as We The Kings, Grace and Tony and Native Run but has spent the last year touring the US and several other countries. Eli is a three time Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards finalist, a TEDxHerndon speaker and composer for live theatre. His theatrical work has been done at The Hub Theatre and Shippensberg University. Eli’s debut album Finding North released in February 2016. 2018 will see the release of his debut LP, partnering with brother Jere Pafumi to form the recording project RitaRita.
